| My family and I took a whirlwind RV trip this summer through southcentral Alaska and continued to stay at gravel-roaded, wide open campgrounds near our destinations that kind of felt sterile, as they were trying to CREATE a camping atmosphere, and we couldn't even have a campfire at many.
Our last night, we pulled into Tolsona Wilderness Campground (which I'd made reservations at a month prior to our trip), and the fam started cheering! "Now THIS is camping!" "This is perfect." "What a great place!" they said. The campground owners were incredibly nice, the bathrooms and showers were neat, tidy, and clean, the showers only cost a quarter for 5 minutes, and it even has WI-FI! My 3-year-old nephew had a ball throwing rocks into the creek on our lot, and we even had a "treasure hunt" for him, since he's really into pirates right now. We made a campfire and roasted hotdogs and marshmallow - just like campers should! What a great way to end our trip - we all agreed. I've already made mental plans to re-visit next time I'm in Alaska. It's a must see. |

| Loved this place! Someone in AZ told me about it so I stopped to check it out on the way to Eagle and stayed for 4 days. I'm headed back this year for 2 weeks. Great place to kick back and forget the world. Nice, clean campground, good food, nice folks and great gold mining! |

| My husband and I spent an extended stay at Bear Creek Cabins and RV Park in Valdez, AK. This beautiful treed campground is just a few miles North Valdez. Within a few miles of the fish hatchery and excellent fishing at Allison Point.
The campground was well groomed, with very clean rest rooms and laundry. The owner/host was very helpful and caring. They are very knowledgeable of the area attractions and rules and regulations of fishing and hunting. |

| Would easily be a 10 if they had TV. One of the best small parks we have ever stayed at. View of Cook Inlet and Mt Redoubt are spectacular. Owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful even offering free fresh smoked salmon as a welcome gift. Small park, only about 25 sites, tiered so everyone has a view. Wifi was the best. Pristine, quiet and VERY CLEAN. Easy access to Homer or Soldotna. |

| Coupon from Alaska Toursaver was not honored for service stated. Staff was totally uncooperative. Stayed anyway, but campground was nothing to brag about. Won't be back. |
