Best and cleanest washrooms and showers. Usually available even during holiday weekends. Beach water is clear when it's not busy. If there are a lot of people in the water, dirt at the bottom of the lake gets stirred and water looks dirty. We camped there recently during VERY WARM weather and found that the beach area had lots of shade trees and a nice breeze so had a nap on a blanket under a shade tree. We will definitely be back!

My grandkids and I loved the camping, beach and natural walks. The store is well supplied and the staff are very helpful. We are going back this year.

Nice place, Will return for sure. Nice clean sites and washrooms. Great hiking trail. Beach is nice during cooler weather but I think gets yuky when really hot out.

we went for the day on May 31/10, & the water & beach area was awful!!...so much seaweed & very murky. There was a sign posted at the beach area, warning people unsafe to swim, due to high level of bacteria!!!!...Would like to know why we weren't informed of these conditions at the gate...would of never went in. And, why was it even open for swimming???.....should u not treat it??? We will NOT be back this year, and maybe never unless I know full well that the conditions are safe.
