| This is by far one of the most beautiful places that you could ever camp at. However, being a PG&E campground it lacks any form of security and PG&E fails to support it's camp hosts in any way to control what is fast becoming an epidemic in all of the PG&E campgrounds. In fact corporate seem to be totally disconnected from these employees who are left to fend for their own. When I called PG&E about this problem that we had gone through while camping in their campgrounds for the last three years in a row, their response was; “ Well if our camp hosts can’t do their job we will just replace them.” And they wonder why the camp hosts say nothing about this to them. Well how about talking to them and investigating the problem so that you could possibly see how your security division could SUPPORT them in restoring a safe environment once again?
Instead, the elderly camp hosts are left to hold down the fort in a county that only boasts TWO deputies for the whole county and these deputies are slow to respond if at all to the calls for help from the camp hosts who in return tell you the tenant/camper to call 911 when your camp is being ripped off by one several Slavic gang members who show year after year to fill a 6 person only campsite with anywhere from 30 to 60 gang members after telling the camp host that there are only 6 of them. That is if you are willing to get out of your bed in the middle of the night to roust them out of their bed while your campsite is being ransacked by these annual gang members. After sleeping with billy clubs and taser guns, I decided that it was time to find another place to camp where there were no all night loud drunks and gang members breaking into vehicles and ripping off coolers. Oh! Did I mention the camp full of totally methed out creeps in it running around naked peeing on each other? |
