What an Awesome Place!! Had an fantastic week here, and looking forward to coming back next year. 5 stars, highly recommended. Park owner Norm Sancartier goes beyond all expectations to ensure me and my family had enjoyable and fun stay here at the lodge.

I actually stayed there one wknd in 2007 and decided to put our camper there for a seasonal in 2008. Excellent owners of the park which will bring us back every year...Just a walk to the beautiful Lake Athapap and waking up to the loons every morning will bring us back every year..Doug and Vivian are excellent people and I would recommend anyone staying at there campsite...The only downfall is it isn't like the provincial parks, private with bush around your campsite...It is an open area, but there is no limitations to the enjoyment you can have unlike the rules in the Provincial Parks...I would choose McKenzies Campground over any campground and that is why we are getting a seasonal once again this year...Plus the enjoyment of the hottub every night before bed is another great feature at the park...
