I stayed there when a hurricane was coming to Galveston, tx. Did'nt really get storm but, was glad to come to the camp ground. We really did enjoy the swimming area. Hope to bring my husband soon.

What a nice, quiet RV Park. It was very family and pet friendly. We enjoyed the open courtyard space for playing. The park is located between Seguin and Gonzales. We enjoyed travelling to Seguin for necessary shopping and Gonzales for the rich Texas history...then back to Hill Shade for the quiet, one-with-nature experience. The managers at Hill Shade were very friendly and helpful.
