| We tried Milers, in 2008, liked it so much that we wanted a seasonal site. Due to the popularity of the campground, no sites available. We ended up selling our camper and buying a lovely camper on a seasonal site. Not too many for sale to choose from, but we feel we got the best.
This camp resort, is the best of several we looked at. We enjoy the family, fun times and the cleanliness of the resort. Management is spot on. They couldn't do a better job. Rules are there to help the campers and the owners. The pool, has never so much as had a twig in it. Wasdhrooms and laundromat are above clean conditions...Our children yearn for May to come so they can go to "Miller's" All people are friendly and have welcomed us into their neighbourhood. Trouble makers are kept out and that is why they have rules. I have nothing but praise for the management, the resort, or fellow campers. There are a couple of campers selling due to illness and speaking with them, they have many regrets, as they love their summer home. Management are always ready and willing to help you out and offer a hand. They strive to make everyone enjoy their summer home. I thank them for this and look forward to another great summer. See you all first week of May! With amny thanks |

July 2009 - If you enjoy being harassed by owners and wish to stay in a military campground, this is the campground for you. There are many trailers up for sale here, so that speaks for itself.
Mrs. campground owner sits smoking in the office, and has been seen many times yelling at campers in front of other campers. If there is an issue, most mature business owners would speak respectfully and calmly to work out issues. She obviously is a very emotionally driven woman.
Mr. Campground owner waits and watches for rulebreakers just for the opportunity to flex his muscles and put people in their place.
There are many rules at this campground which include 10km/hour speed limit (if broken by even 5 km/hour you will be hunted down and corrected), pitching a tent on your own property (even if its for kids to play in, rather than sleep in, you will be corrected and warned) having people stay or visit your property (you will receive a visit from the muscle flexer to serve as warning not to break rules). - Just to name a few.
I for one, would prefer to spend my hard earned money in a family friendly campground, rather than a military campground.
I feel sorry for the many campers who are trying to sell their space there. Hopefully the owners can hold back their harassement long enough for potential buyers to look around. That wasn't the case for me. |
