We just spent a week of holidays in Minot and we camped at this campground. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. This campground is very clean and quiet and the sites are a good size. We met several other people there who camp here on a regular basis. We will be looking forward to returning here again. Thanks

We stayed only one night at the Rough Rider and found it excellent. The pull-through site was level, the staff was friendly and helpful, it was quiet and there was a beautiful stream right across from us. Another major factor was its proximity to town. My wife and I will be going back for sure! Thank you.

This is an awesome state park. The rangers are extremely friendly & helpful! The park is nice, shaded, full of wildlife, clean, bathrooms/showers are clean as well. We stayed for 2 weeks & would've stayed longer if we could. The hiking/biking trails are great, a wide path mowed. There is not much of an onsite convience store but Garrison is only 3 miles away. Didn't check out the buffet. The interpretive games on Sat nites are fun & worth playing, very informative. Will return if we have the opportunity.
