Description : Rockville Lake Park is a 400 acre park operated by the Parke County Park & Recreation Board. The park features Rockville Lake, which is a 103 acre watershed that was built in 1972. The lake is one of the hottest fishing lakes in Indiana and offers the chance to catch bluegill, red-ear, crappie, bass, and catfish. A boat ramp, a 100 foot wheelchair accessible fishing pier, boat rentals, and several hundred feet of open shoreline is available for people of all ages and capabilities to cast into this astounding fishery.

Directions : From the North: Layfayette: Take Hwy 43 south to Crawfordsville. From Crawfordsville Take Hwy. 47 South to Hwy 41 South. Take Hwy 41 to Rockville and turn LEFT at the first stoplight. Follow the yellow signs to the park.

My husband and I camp at this park on a regular basis. There isn't any bad campsites there. The people who run the park are very friendly and helpful. The swimming beach is nice and clean and the fishing is always excellent (trolling motors only). It is a nice, quiet place to go to relax and enjoy nature.
