From southern British Columbia, travel the Yellowhead highway, #16 west from Prince George. At Kitwanga Junction turn right onto the Stewart/Cassiar Highway #37. For those travelling on BC Ferries or the Alaska Marine Highway, from Prince Rupert, travel east on Highway 16 to the Cassiar Highway #37 and turn left. The intersection is well marked. Travelling north 210 km on Hwy 37 to Meziadin Junction, turn left onto Hwy 37A. The final 65 km to Stewart/Hyder is the most spectacular scenery in the northwest. From Yukon and Alaska, travel south along Hwy 37 from Watson Lake, continuing on Hwy 37A from Meziadin Junction.
