Spider Rock Campground is located 10 miles east of the Canyon de Chelly Visitor Center on the South Rim Canyon Drive at Canyon de Chelly National Monument. From Phoenix (about 350 miles)
Take the I-17 north to the I-40 east (exit #340A toward Winslow/Albuquerque). Take US-191 north (exit #333 toward Chambers/Ganado). When US-191 reaches the 264, go west on 264 for about 6 miles until getting back on the 191 north to Chinle. When you get to Chinle, take a right (east) onto BIA 7, which will take you to Canyon de Chelly National Monument -- Spider Rock Campground is 10 miles past the Visitor Center on BIA 7.
