Bear Den Family Campground Take I-40 exit 86 to highway 226 north. Follow 15 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway, 6 miles north to Bear Den Mtn. road on right.
Springmaid Mountain From intersection of NC 226 & Altapass Hwy: Take Altapass Hwy South. Turn left onto Humpback Mountain Road just beyond the Altapass Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station. Humpback Mountain Road goes to right, continue going straight on Henredon Road. You will see the Henredon Furniture Plant on your left. After you pass this plant, the pavement ends. Continue on the gravel road. The Registration Office is on the left.
Spruce Pine Campground Located 4 miles south of Spruce Pine, NC and 4 miles north of the Blue Ridge Parkway on NC 226. Turn at Woody's Chair Shop and stay on Dale Road for 1.3 miles. Look for our sign on the left.
