This campsite is 5 meters from Highway 97. All you can hear is traffic 24/7 - and their website states that their sites are 'quiet'.

Management was very reluctant in refunding our money after 1 horrible night's stay, saying since we found them online, we understood their 'NO REFUNDS' policy. You cannot access this information unless you try to book with them online. It is not on their general website.

They tried to keep our 50% deposit, plus one night's rate, for the night ; 150 + 36 = expensive camping.

Go to Peach Orchard Campgrounds - just up the lake from Illahie - much better site, much better service, better price & wi-fi.

This place is brutal. They don't give refunds for a reason. Once you get here, everyone would turn around and leave. You are packed like sardines and the highway traffic is so noisy. The beach is rocky. We were suppose to be here until Saturday, but we are leaving tomorrow. It's that bad!!!!!! You can't go outside without tripping over hour neighbors sewer hose.
