From Wilkesboro, NC
From US Hwy 421, turn onto New Hwy 16 N.
You will stay on New 16 all the way to Jefferson (approx 25-30 min), where you will turn at an intersection and continue on New Hwy 16 as it heads toward Virginia.
After you turn in Jefferson, continue on New 16 for approximately 7-8 miles.
Before you cross the first bridge you will see, you will turn right onto the South Overpass Ramp which will take you down to Old Hwy 16. Turn right.
After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Chestnut Hill Road.
Go about 3 miles, turn left onto the George McMillan Road.
Continue on this road about 3 miles, you will come to the river (do not cross the river) and the road will turn to a gravel road. Continue about two miles down the gravel road, Twin Rivers will be on your right.
