Campgroung conveniently located in Uclulet near restaurants, Pacific Rim Trail, etc. Our 22 ft small RV cost $38 per night. Bathrooms were shabby and cleaned infrequently. Since there was only one set of bathrooms which served all 100 sites, number of toilets was inadequate. 15 amp service was provided. Showers cost $3 for 5 minutes. Dump service cost another $5 per use. Pretty noisy as campers went roaring through on the gravel roads at well over 25 mph crunching and causing clouds of dust until about 11 pm. We were happy that we had only paid in advance for one night and were happy to leave.

We stayed on their 'overflow' tent site. We were charged $31, for a rocky patch of grass with no shower block, no toilet block, absolutely nothing!! $31 was the same as their regular tent pitches with all the amenities. There was also an ice making factory close by which was running and humming all night and morning stocking up traulers with ice. Then there were the trucks going up and down the gravel road!

When making a complaint to the office about the factory, lack of amenities, being, in my mind, over charged and a thoroughly uncomfortble one hour sleep. It was met with a repsonse of that the factory should have closed down years ago, we should have seen the site first and no, we were not geting any kind of monetery compensation.

The guy in the office was very unhelpful and very unsypathetic towards us. But, hey, he had already got the money so why should he care!! We should have stayed at Sprout Lake which we visited on the way back and it looked lovely, and was cheaper!
